Scootering

A full day tour is the way to go if you have an entire day to explore the hundreds of sights and sounds in beautiful Rome. Learn how to drive and ride a scooter like a Roman and see what Rome has to offer while you are doing it. Meet your Scooter Guide in the morning to pick up your scooter and make the first stop for a café & cornetto while experiencing one of the most magnificent views of the Colosseum & Forum. Then we are off to get acclimated to Roman driving on the larger, broader streets while wowed by the Caracalla Baths, Circo Massimo, the Aventine Hill, the Garden of Oranges & the Pyramid Neighborhood. We will break for lunch at a local café or pizza place and then set out again for Trastevere, one of the oldest Roman neighborhoods, visit the ‘Gianicolo’ and Garibaldi park, continue along the Tiber River pass the Castel’ Sant’Angelo to St. Peter’s Square. By now you have the hang of driving a scooter in downtown Rome so the Scooter Maven will take you for one last spin through the main drag to the epitome of all crazy motorized Roman places…Piazza Navona where the ancient world connects with modern society.  You will enjoy it all from the back of your bike !!

The Bici Tour

For those who are not interested in a motorized bike there is the option of a private three hour guided bicycle tour of Bella Roma. Not only is it a lot of fun but you will discover areas of town where you can't go with a scooter and wouldn't find on foot. You will see all the major highlights of the downtown area including the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona & experience many of the hidden neighborhoods and gems of the city.
